Achievements

The principal, Peter O'Callaghan has over 25 years experience in risk management and internal auditing, nationally and internationally, public and private sector.

Major achievements include

  • Project leadership of ANZ's 1990 Global Audit review. This review, part of 'project core', provided the framework for major reforms  within ANZ's audit function, including the introduction of risk based auditing
  • Restructuring of ANZ's offshore auditing as General Manager Audit South Asia and the development of a strategic audit plan and report for the Bank of England
  • The establishment of a 'risk management culture' at CSIRO through the development of a comprehensive methodology for risk assessments (in line with the Australian Standard for risk assessment)
