Peter is the Principal of Peter B. Corrigan Chartered Accountant, specialising in Internal Audit and Risk Management, External Audit and Corporate Secretarial for a number of clients.
Peter is experienced in Corporate Governance matters and has acted as Chairman of a number of Corporate Audit Committees.
Peter has been responsible for directing internal audit and risk management, reporting through the Chief Executive to the Audit Committee. In this role, Peter quality assures the risk management process, monitors controls, develops and implements relevant internal audit processes and makes recommendations to management to strengthen internal controls. Peter works closely with both senior and support management and with his strong professional and people skills is able to achieve effective outcomes for the organisation.
Previous professional appointments include Chairman of St Vincent’s Private Hospital Finance and Audit Committees, Chairman of New Balance Australia Pty Limited Audit Committee and Secretary of The Victorian Hospitals Association.
Peter is currently a Councillor, Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Old Colonists’ Association of Victoria, Company Secretary of Merri Community Health Services Limited and Responsible Gambling Advocacy Centre Limited.
