Peter is the Managing Director of Wyndarra Consulting which has been operating for over 14 years as a boutique operation, specialising in all facets of corporate governance, enterprise risk management and audit.  

Peter has a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Postgraduate Diploma in Management and has over 25 years experience in risk management, audit and governance including government enterprises, forestry, mining, meat industry, banking and financial services. He has a high profile in this field winning the award for the Outstanding Contribution to Public Sector in 1998 for the State of Victoria, Australia.

  • Board governance reviews for major organisations including charter redesign, development of Board governance frameworks and Board presentations and workshops
  • Strong analytical skills, streamlining policy and procedure including focus on business improvement opportunities, process reengineering and mapping
  • Able to synthesise difficult and complex issues into simple and meaningful outcomes as demonstrated by the development of commercially available software solutions
  • Conduct seminars on governance and risk management implementation for Board members and senior executives of the Victorian Government, including separate sessions for the Healthcare sector
  • Facilitated numerous strategic planning workshops for a variety of public and private organisations including balanced scorecard techniques, risk identification and risk strategy development
  • Undertook global audit review of ANZ’s internal audit function in 1990 with recommendations adopted by the ANZ Board
